Hey Oppo. My wife usually buys small Starbucks coffees in the morning and they are smaller than the cup holder in the CX-3. She uses some bent business cards to adapt the cup holder.
Is there a product on Amazon I can buy to do this for her? I searched “cupholder” and there are just tons of cheap vent mounts and big gulp sized adapters.
I’m sure someone on here knows a product.

Buy a reusable cup that fits your current holder then you stop throwing away paper cups also.

“My cup holders are too large”
Said no E9X owner ever.
The expensive solution would be to get an E9x and then the minuscule cup holders will securely hold your wife’s small drink.

Get a ceramic coffee cup and just have them put your coffee in that. Fits in the cupholder and saves a tree.

That’s probably the easiest/most elegant solution. I may just do this.

Not that I put too much time into this search, but this is what I found... I might end up getting one myself.

Buy bigger coffee. Simple and you get more coffee.

That’s pretty damn nice for anything. I look at both CR-Vs, my mom’s minivan and anything else that’s not a supercar/luxury car and that is a winner.

How about buy a programmable coffee pot for home, and load it up the night before, so that the coffee is ready first thing in the morning. Get a compatible re-usable cup that fits the cupholders as well.
You can then use the $$$ saved by not paying for Starbucks every morning to
take her on a nice date
buy more car and motorcycle parts.

Get an inch-long (or so) piece of PVC or a foam pool noodle and make an adapter. If you do PVC, get some factory touch-up (or take to to a paint shop) and match that gorgeous Soul Red.

Nothing to compress inward and provide tension for smaller cups? That’s sort of surprising in this day and age, especially from Mazda.
But I believe manufacturers have started cheaping out on stuff like that so they can pay for emissions, efficiency, infotainment, and airbags.

The whole centerpiece is one massive plastic unit with forms for cup holders and holes only for the buttons/dial. No armrest, no adjustments.
